Health & Safety

As the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre has reopened, the health and safety of our Patrons, Performers and Community is the highest priority.

By closely monitoring industry and government guidance regarding the COVID-19 virus, including information supplied by the California Department of Public HealthCenters for Disease Control and Prevention and the Solano County Department of Public Health, we are implementing additional guidelines and procedures for sanitation, cleaning and overall wellness with an emphasis on the prevention of transmission of respiratory illnesses.

Per the California Department of Public Health, masks are no longer required but strongly recommended for all persons, regardless of vaccine status. Masks will be available on site should you wish to wear one. Proof of vaccination or negative test is not required to attend.

For everyone’s safety

  • You agree to follow all safety protocols inside the VPAT
  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19 recently, or have symptoms of COVID-19 (including fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please stay home and help us keep everyone safe.
  • We will refund tickets in the event of COVID-19 illness, less the associated fees.

Updated policies

  • Per the CDPH, masks are no longer required but strongly recommended for all persons, regardless of vaccine status.
  • If you, or anyone you have interacted with, has experienced any symptoms of illness such as fever, chills, dry cough, shortness of breath or sore throat within the past 14 days, please stay home.

Cleaning and sanitizing

  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the venue.
  • Defined procedures to hand washing facilities and hand sanitizers for guests and staff members.
  • Frequent cleaning and monitoring of all high-touch areas before, during and after shows.
  • End of show sanitation procedures for the entire venue.
  • Ventilation improvements have increased the delivery of clean air. We encourage you to bring a jacket.

Volunteers and Staff

  • Staff and volunteers must self-check temperatures prior to starting each shift.
  • All staff and volunteers will receive updated training on cleaning and operational procedures.

Personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Face masks are available in the venue.

Auditorium distancing, entry and exit policies

  • Upon entering the facility, patrons will be asked to display their tickets.
  • After scanning/taking of tickets, patrons will be directed to a specific door for entering the event venue.
  • Patrons must sit in their ticketed seats.

Concessions

  • VPAT has limited the sales of concessions until further notice.

Box Office and Ticketing

  • The Box Office is open for walk-up sales.
  • The Box Office can be reached by phone at 707.469.4013 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or by email at boxoffice@vpat.net.
  • Tickets can be purchased online at VPAT.net.
